Dr. Tim Buie is Appointed Co-Director of the GI-Autism Clinic

Boston Children’s Hospital recently appointed me as Co-Director of the GI-Autism Clinic. This is a major step forward in supporting the work of our talented team of GI physicians, nurses, nutritionists, social workers, psychologists, and others who provide medical care to individuals with autism. I am excited to work with my fellow co-director, GI specialist Dr. Sonia Ballal to expand the GI-Autism Clinic’s mission, providing expert services, advancing research, and educating the next generation of medical professionals to care for this population. See the GI Gazette article below.

Dr. Ballal and I are both presenters in the Managing Medical Issues in Autism video series I developed and produced, which is now available to see for free on the Boston Children’s Hospital YouTube channel by clicking on this direct link: [@BostonChildrens](https://www.youtube.com/@ChildrensHospital/search?query=Autism%20and%20GI)

The video series can also be found on the BCH YouTube channel www.YouTube.com@ChildrensHospital by searching: “GI and Autism.”
